An 880 Horsepower G-Machine.

The third generation Shelby GT not only marked the departure of Carrol Shelby from Ford, but his most radical departure from the stock Mustang design. Gen3 was a full three inches longer, had a wrap-around front bumper and an aggressive 5-scoop hood. This was my platform of choice.

As a Mustang enthusiast I’ve been guilty of just one type of envy: Hideaway headlight envy. Torinos, Cougars, Rancheros (Chargers ala “Bullitt” and RS Camaros) look more menacing. Not anymore.  Of all three Shelbys, only Gen3’s unique full wrap around bumper design could house hideaways...

“The Enigma of Steel” concept was born.
